Geohazard Risk Assessment

Reducing the risks of geohazards starts at the early development stages, even without setting foot in the planned project area. We support our developer and owner clients with desktop studies that draw on public domain information to assess potential geohazards for the project.

Taking the geohazard assessment a step further, a preliminary geotechnical investigation is typically carried out for Owners and Developers based on preliminary project layouts and involving a set of strategically selected locations. We will assist in the selection of the strategic locations and will produce preliminary geotechnical recommendations suitable for preliminary pricing of different foundation options.

A full investigation would produce design-level geotechnical recommendations and would reduce uncertainty to industry standard of care levels.
