POWERGEN 2024: Repowering Wind Projects

On January 24, 2024, we had the honor to talk about repowering wind projects at the 2024 version of the POWERGEN mega conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The session was part of a well-attended and executed track titled “O&M and EPC Considerations for Utility-Scale Solar and Wind.” Civil Renewables’ President, Jomaa Ben Hassine, presented high-level technical considerations for repowering and life extension of wind projects, especially those related to foundation condition assessments and estimates of remaining useful life (RUL).
