Synopsis: "Once again, the Geo-Institute of ASCE returns to New Orleans to bring you GeoCongress 2008. The Congress will be alive with discussions of current trends on the role of geoengineers and geoscientists in protecting and preserving our environment and will highlight the expansive and interdisciplinary nature of geoenvironmental issues. This conference builds on the very successful 1995 ASCE Geoenvironment conference hosted in the very same city which is now flourishing with new growth and lively renewed spirit."
