"Retain may be used to design or review cantilevered concrete retaining walls and bridge abutments with either spread footing or pile foundations. The program uses a graphical user interface (GUI) prepared using Microsoft Visual Basic. All of the computations are performed by a Fortran dynamic link library (DLL). The program is designed to work only on the Microsoft Windows 32 bit operating systems. "
